Aloha from a one-time kamaaina from Hawaii now living in New Jersey. There are two things I love the most: Travel and photography. Umm...Make that three. Sunday midmorning Yum cha and THEN travel and photography. I'm now 4 years into digital and I must say that my favorite part of digital photography is the ease to control post-processing work. No more worries about whether my prints from negatives comes out soft and/or muddy from the lab. Yet, I still love slide photography for its great saturation (Velvia, Elite Chrome, etc.). Alas, hands-down, digital has the upper hand. At least with digital I won't have to throw so many bad slides away. So my second favorite part about digital is the delete button, a lovely money-saving feature that makes taking digital pictures a joy! Keep the best, throw out the rest! - Mahalo for visiting!
